ABOUT US

'The Civil Engineering Association' (CEA), is a student community of the Department of the Civil Engineering, KEC Erode, which monitors and conducts the bulk of the departmental activities (co-curricular and extra-curricular) throughout the academic year. CEA continuously strives to re-kindle the thirst for knowledge, to bring a change by challenging our perception and understanding of the core of Civil Engineering in a revitalizing way.

 

The activities of this proactive Civil Engineering Community includes 'Monthly events', 'Lecture series', 'Sports' etc. involving faculty and students, target all around development such as practical knowledge, awareness about current developments and techniques throughout the year. CEA was re-developed and re-modelled year after year incorporating oodles of innovation and challenge resulting in the combination of fun and knowledge, which is what CEA stands for now.

 

The CEA fest, besides offering students, an insight into the potential of the Civil Engineering Industry, provides a launching platform for the training of budding Engineers to develop skills required by this industry. Reaching out to over hundred colleges spread all over India, CEA inspires and encourages the  students to explore the unexplored knowledge in the field of Civil Engineering.

 

ABOUT CEANS

 

CEANS- Civil Engineering Association's National Level Technical Symposium. It was started in the year 2000 and it is conducted every year since then.

It serves as a platform for students of various engineering college across the country to share their knowledge and express their innovative ideas in the field of engineering and technology.
