In order to reduce the cost of structure, the dead weight of structure should be minimized. Nowadays the light weight concrete or foamed concrete are used in construction industry instead of reinforced concrete to reduce the dead weight of structure. In addition to this it is also applicable where the plain cement concrete is not suitable to withstand the loads.

 

 Rules

 

• Each team can have maximum of 3 persons

• Each team should submit two concrete cubes at the 7 days of curing.

• The Dimension of the cube must be 150mmX150mmX150mm.

• The strength and weight of the cube is considered for selecting the winners.

• Any materials and admixtures can be used for reducing the weight.

• Judges decision will be final.
